Halloween World

The Halloween world moves only at night We’ve got spooky food, a mighty skull cake Full of little skulls and blood that is fake The witches arrive and fly out of sight Leading the way of all the devilish fiends Where monsters follow evil and hate it seems The Jack-O-Lantern is lit and stays on tonight Warming the hearts of many people around The feel of Halloween, it comes and surrounds Halloween is the night that fills me with delight A comforting intensity fills my humble soul Where terror and fear comes and takes its toll The Halloween world moves only at night The witches arrive and fly out of sight The Jack-O-Lantern is lit and stays on tonight Halloween is the night that fills me with delight Not for Andrea's Constanza contest Russell Sivey

a splendid write on a spooky Halloween night Russell luv.. I so like the presentation with emphasis on certain lines ..excellent piece but why not for contest luv? I see u have read my dear friend Constance's poetry .. she is magnifico no? and so gifted with words too..she also has had a bad year healthwise so we do so appreciate your most encoraging comments which inspire us ..

A skull cake with strawberry and whipped cream filling sounds like a hell of a good product for any local bakery. Good imaginative write using the constanza form.
