Halloween

Monday morning all is blue, Heaving oneself out of bed in a hullabaloo, Dark outside as Halloween sets in, Slugs attacking the teeth of our pumpkin, Son demanding I arrange his cards for a magic trick, Daughter huffing, expecting her breakfast to appear real quick, I want to shut the door and hide away, Under my inviting warm duvet.
