Halloween
Ghosts and goblins, vampires and zombies
Come together in celebration
Once a year they party hard
A day of pure elation
Trick or treat children will say
Eagerly awaiting a reply
Is it candy they'll recieve?
Or a trick they're made to try?
Pumpkin lanterns and skeletons
Decorate many a front yard
Urban legends and ghost stories
Leave eager listeners scarred
October 31st known as Halloween
A dedicated and intended night
For it is at this time that many
Will endure at least one fright
