especially love that first line Holly, there are many deaths at this time of the year especially due to flu but this pandemic has wreaked havoc across the world:-( hugs Jan xx

Thank you Jan. I just paid to become premium member so I can add a photo and a note. (so often I want to) Poetry, especially haiku, has been helpful through these past few months (few other times of higher emotional turbulence, too). I wrote this after spending a few hours in the gardens wheelbarrowing shredded leaves and wood chips and compost to various places. Seemed fitting.
