... dark and velvety... adored that last line! Makes me think of fresh coffee in the morning (wonder what that's like to swim in?)

Thanks, but not always beautiful. I've got one coming up that is far from it. I've become fascinated by the form, and just checked eight books on haiku out of the university library. The possible variations are amazing, including Jack Kerouac's and William S. Burroughs'.

Thanks...and all four siblings and i have weird yellowish green eyes but they change colors by mood like mood rings...
