H2o
Last week was so hot
I said to my mate
" It would invigorate us
to get out of this heat.
Let's procure the
requisite costumes
And head to the lake."
Best bring hydration
in the form of some beers.
I've never seen a summer
as stinking hot as this
in all of my years.
There's been no form
of precipitation to
bring us some cheer.
But when we reached
our destination the
lake was impermeable.
Crusted over with salt
due to crystallization.
Tired out from our journey
and sweating to boot.
we drank up our beers.
and didn't give a hoot!
