Gypsy
Ahoy listen to the sounds of bird song
the screaming of the gulls way out to sea
let your mind drift to distant times and long
for freer times when you were a gypsy
Now bound by love you left the road behind
no longer travelling by caravan
your life now is not free but confined
you sit hoping waiting for the mailman
A fiery wanton beauty you once were
you no longer know who you have become
remembering past times as fast they blur
to their memories you have to succumb
Wanton gypsy dance with me by firelight
pleasure me as we dally in moonlight
