Guy On the Airplane
Guy on the airplane
I'm sorry I fell asleep on you.
I don't care to give you my name.
I've been up since three,
now staring out the window
I'm about to sleep.
Last thing I know
is I was leaning towards you.
Felt a nudge
heard some laughter
woke up to you
looking down at me
and I'm sorry.
Guess your shoulder
was calling my name
and I answered...ha
These seats are too small
need some more space
and I've always been a tad bit selfish.
Never been the kind to get too embarrassed
but by the third time
I was feeling reckless.
You finally gave in
you finally gave in
just let my sleepy head rest
on your shoulder
just let my sleep head rest
on your shoulder.
You'll have a story
to tell the office
when you get to Georgia
and I'll have a story
to tell my friends
that I really shouldn't travel alone...
Guy on the airplane
so sorry I fell asleep on you...
