Today, I cut a bunch of roses from my rose bush on which there are still blossoms!!!! Strange sight to see... Still I'm so happy to have them... better that I enjoy them now before the frost destroys them.
The fairest of vases sits upon a mantle high
While admiring eyes gaze; doors breathe a long sigh
No expression nor smiles, but its presence calls
To kings and serfs steadfast within encamped walls
Like a beacon shines through opaque, foggy skies
Captures glances of awestruck ones, mesmerized
Unadorned, its beauty, most exquisite pales
But guarding red roses, beauty never fails
