Guardian of My Soul
You look over me
You watch over me
Never turning away
Ever eyeful over me
Even as i go astray
And find my way
Once again
To the blessed fold
Is it all you record
Do you overlook some
Must you all see
Am still but a man
Forever its a struggle
Against the flesh
At times momentarily
I do fell them fluttering
Wrapped inside I
In this ball of flesh
Struggling to be free
To behold the light
Do you record all
Do you overlook
Mine transgressions
Am i fated to yet pay
Is there still hope
Oh mine guardian
Am i still cut off
From his presence
Yet i so desperately
Seek to behold
His majesty
His redeeming light
Keep watch over me
O silent guardian
Forever mindful
He ordains my path
