Guardian Angel

As these pearly dew drops fall, I realize I can't hide anymore. As I try to stand tall I realize that I just can't stand no more. Then, like a guardian angel, you came to me, Told me to live, live to see another day. You swept me off my feet, You took my breath away. Just as I thought I'd be happy, You turned out to be just a fake. You made me feel kinda crappy, Loving you... Was my worst mistake I did fall, That's what you did to me But then, I stood tall... I fell... On my feet...

Thanks Paul, no I'm not gonna take it out on myself, except by eating cake and getting fat...but, I still have hope I'm gonna meet one of the good ones soon enough... :)

LOL Anne-Lise, the cake part was to add a touch of humour, and also to make the poem rhyme I admit... :P but thanks for your kind words. :)
