Growth In
In this isolation where outside the window birds chirps at dusk
(perhaps I should go outside soon)
Soon enough
There is light from the window
I hear the passing cars
(not much to look upon)
The is no countryside here at dawn
I do not reflect upon the past
but I am stuck for days on end
In need of a friend
and I take a shower, and make it chill upon my skin
Perhaps like rain
I take a walk in the warmth of this Spring day
and though the cars and pavement are not my friend
I look upon the sky and know one who is
and as He shines His love on my heart and happiness is with me for this moment
Perhaps His light and the rain of desolate emotion
growth in
