at the grocery store time moves slow as the self-checkout line. at the register a mother digs for change in her pink purse. her daughter laughs as she slices a purple grape in half with two new front teeth.

aww how cute, lovely to see kids eating fruit rather than sweets! My son always had a chunk of cheese which he would choose himself, the ladies in the shop were so kind and let him try to make sure he liked it!:-) hugs jan xx

That is such a lovely story : ) thanks for sharing. A chunk of cheese sounds even better than grapes!
