Grey Matter
GREY MATTER
She didn't want his body, just after his grey matter
Picking away at his brains, always happy to chatter
Is there anything in this life, that guy did not know
Forever kept her interested, and had her on the go
It was knowledge for breakfast, dinner, as then tea
Fills her with knowledge, full satisfaction guarantee
Then one day, all his knowledge fused out in a light
As the grey matter went to mush, and turned white
She put him in an asylum, for the obsessive insane
Then went to university, this girl, was no plain Jane
Where she went on to win a degree in brain science
As her partner sits in the ward, in a world of silence
