Greatest Fear

That girl you see, she's standing there She hides behind her pretty hair She cries inside but smiles without She gives the whole wide world a shout Reminding them of the scars he left her He cries aloud, because he knows it's over In a crowded room she feels alone She taps her heels three times but she can't go home He was her escape, her only way out So she misses him without a doubt She's tried moving on but she can't let go She tries so hard not to let it show She cries herself to sleep at night 'Cause she's unaware and not ready to fight Another battle in this dark, cold war She knows she'll never be the same It takes all she's got to keep from going insane As she finally reaches her breaking point A once white rose was painted red Reminding her of the tears she's bled Her bright smile once lit up the room But now her sadness turns the whole world blue. In a dark room she tries to find the light but there's not an ounce of hope in sight The world as she knew it was crashing down But they couldn't even hear the sound Of her voice crying out for help Someone save me Now she's crying for the whole wide world to hear That her reality, is her greatest fear.
