Grasshoppers At Christmas

Grasshoppers at Christmas Hopping to the melodies of the season Celebrating the newborn King and all the gifts that He brings Enthusiastically playing their back legs as violin strings Creating the most elegant symphony Behold the babe lying in the manger is Christ the King! To Him is due all the holiday enthusiasm He holds the keys to my heart And the keys to heaven and hell I whisper Merry Christmas to my Lord and Savior as I bow humbly before Him on my knees No one would truly understand this relationship that I have with my King Grasshoppers chirping in my heart Violins playing in the distant night All of mankind is but a droning noise in the background I lay my most beautiful gifts at the manger of my King Grasshoppers chirping merrily!
