Grasshopper
Camouflaged green and brown
hidden by the background
springs from a grassy ground
on my rose pot sits down
chewing sideways not up down
snapping from nearby mound
eats meal in my sunlight
then he flings out of sight
with its large eyes compound
scratching a thrilling violin sound
to the rose waves bye bye
only for a moment stopped by.
