Grandpa

I wish I could turn back the clock To the stories you told as we'd rock I loved the afternoons with you It was always something new A grandfather so amazing to care A shoulder so strong and always there Your life is something I admire Your determination burned like hells fire Through your pain you held strong Always taught right from wrong I still remember the call Just from the shock of it all There were so many things left unsaid From the day you left us from your bed I've been searching far an wide I know I'll see you on the other side

Welcome to the site. I know you will like it here. This is a nicely written poem about your late grandfather. I never knew my grandfather. He passed away twelve years before I was born.
