Grandma Dear
How brave she was, who lost her love
on Christmas week, to God above.
Strength of Job, tough resin of myrrh.
My dear grandma, how I loved her!
With veil, she'd kneel and fold her hands -
trusting God for aid, for sure plans.
Blessed by him, her big heart he’d spur.
My dear grandma, how I loved her!
Oh how she loved her family -
driving hours to visit thee.
Her lasting legacy does stir.
My dear grandma, how I loved her!
