Grace
delightfully elegant
Pleasantly refined
Heaven sent
Wine and dined
A strand of pearls
Adorned her collar
Enraged the girls
When they saw her
Called a whore
and other slang
Birds hit the floor
when she sang
Never endured
The touch of a man
Read the good word
Pleased by her hand
Waist petite
Perfect breasts
Clean meat
Trimmed nest
Skin of satin
Painted nails
Neat as a pin
Whistles and bells
Pinky erect
Sipping tea
Others pecked
Relentlessly
Bible kept
Against her heart
If she wept
Tears were art
Delicate feet
Float like grace
Danced to the beat
Painting her space
Kept no company
He filled her cup
Tithed her pennies
He lifted her up
