Grace

On the road of life The hazards can spring Force upon us strife As conflicts now fling On the journey road The troubles we face Confront sudden load That burdens our race On the route we take So many fork roads Confuse and cause breaks In our crushing loads. On the uphill climb The pains and hurts flare With soil, sweat and grime That dilutes our dare. On the path of light We brave cold and frost Clutching to fond sight As we seek what's lost On the darkest night When sight cannot see A light within fights To show what will be On the way ahead We gather new guts To put gloom to bed Forge to purge the rut On and on we go To seek the treasure Of a long lost glow In endless measure Leon Enriquez 04 December 2015 Singapore
