Gotta Love Alliteration

A tad tumbly today, with subdued sparks of sadness Littered with lonely, a stones throw from madness Latitude, longitude all seemed to languish I sat quietly, quite contained, despite all my anguish Total despair decided it could be diverted Each moment of malaise mainly averted Reached out reticently though readers replied A perception of self, skewed with sorrowful lies Tally up totals with trepidation I wait I cannot cope with contemplating my fate Over the worst, this will soon be ending None the wiser on what weakness needs mending

A Tad Tumbly Today, what a great line to open an alliteration acrostic with, sadly the poem spirals downward into a maze of malaise (not the wording) of course, it’s all quite unique, so to tally up the total, I’d say, yes we all get down in the dumps at times, perhaps it’s not weakness needs mending, but inner strength that will get us through, a sad but superbly written piece, cheers David

Too kind David, poetry helps map trajectories of emotions in the most interesting way. Maybe that's my navigational tool out of the maze :)

Dear DD, your acrostic masterfully blend the rhythmic charm of alliteration with a raw, emotional journey. I love how your lines portray a struggle with despair and the hesitant hope that follows. The interplay of words like "latitude" and "longitude" with feelings of anguish creates a moving piece. Truly a poignant and beautifully crafted poem! - Blessings, Daniel
