Goodbye, Hello

Make sure to start the new dawn clean Do not let the Evil become between Always make the “Good-byes” your best one You never know if another “Hello” you’ve won Though busy time you must be careful of your voice Make sure of your words of choice Always make the “Good-byes” your best one You never know if another “Hello” you’ve won Validate, validate make sure to appreciate This is how to support emotions delicate Always make the “Good-byes” your best one You never know if another “Hello” you’ve won Touching, kissing, loving, hugging Make sure to acknowledge that tiny little tugging Always make the “Good-byes” your best one Do you know if another “Hello” you’ve won? ©Holly P. what an interesting theme for a ghazal poem. I have not tried this form in a long time. It sure looks a lot like a kyrielle to me! Very nice, Holly. I enjoyed the read.

According to PS forms, I've written my ghazal and my kyrielle (has a religious refrain), correctly. But, upon research, I think this is actually a kyrielle. Which means what is my kyrielle? And, why does PS state that a kyrielle should have a religious reference? And, a ghazal does not have a particular theme. Just 2 rhyming couplets and a refrain..SM me...Hugs, xxoo Holly

What a great take on greetings and goodbyes, Holly, and the vehicle for this poem is new for me...a positive upbeat message within! I do appreciate your comments on my autumn dodoitsu...I wanted to set the tone of happiness so I included those elements that demonstrate it to me...parades and classical music! We must think alike, u are right! :) gwendolen
