Goodbye Adam
I have never really been good at,
Letting loved ones go;
And saying goodbye to you right now,
Hurts me more than you’ll ever know;
I find myself resentful,
That life is so unfair;
And I hope that wherever you are,
You know that I still care;
I missed my chance to tell you,
How much you meant to me;
And I’m bitter when I think about,
All the things you’ll never see;
And I truly hate the fact,
That your life was fleeting and brief;
And knowing that I’ll never see you again,
Fills my heart with grief.
