Goodbye

Close your eyes and rest the journey has been taxing and long my heart cannot sing your song. You’ve done your best survived the worst lived through the pain and life's denying thirst. Now it comes the end of all and I know you must go. How do I say goodbye without asking you to stay just a little longer, just one more day. It’s too much to ask you’ve packed your bags and rallied to the task. I’m not ready probably never will be how do I set you free? I’m letting go already missing you and crying tearfully, Goodbye.
