Goodbye

I lay in bed on this quiet night and know I will leave before it is light I kiss you goodbye and pray you do not hear me cry Our dreams lay broken our grief unspoken hearts cut open and emotionally frozen Our hopes in tomorrow are now filled with sorrow and have flown with the sparrow like time that was borrowed. -Alesia Leach © 2/2015

This is so sad, but such a great write. I love the lines "Our dreams lay broken our grief unspoken hearts cut open and emotionally frozen" That described a broken heart so well. It's a 7 from me. Janet
