Good Old Days
The good old days, the good old days
every time we all look back
Leaving out the pain and heartache
everything we'd rather lack
The good old days, the good old days
How they always make me smile
Stopping by just to say hi
every once in a while
The good old days, the good old days
always look back on you fondly,
The times that I loved
That affected me strongly
The good old days, the good old days
How romanticized they are
Or blown out of proportion
Getting taken way to far
The good old days, the good old days
How distorted you can be
All due to this faulty camera
That controls our memory
The good old days, the good old day
I miss you nonetheless
I look back at you often
Though I try not to regress
The good old days, the good old days
I would like to ask you a favor
Keep my pain and heartache tucked away
And for that you'll be my savior
The Good old days, the good old days
I still love to reminisce
Because you did just what you said
Because you stuck to our promise
