Good Company
Some people are a vexation,
To your very soul.
They'll torment your spirit,
Leave you feeling cold.
Some people leave your aura jaded,
While they have not a care.
Take away your will to live,
Have you in despair.
Some people leave you feeling,
Like a wingèd bird.
They set your heart on fire,
You’ll believe every word.
Some people show you how life's
Full of joys untold,
They’ll nurture you, and if you’re lost,
Return you to the fold.
