Good Companions
Good companions all,
Friends to keep.
They give love back,
A love so deep.
Don't be alone in the world today,
A loving friend is only a dog away.
Never go home to an empty house,
Your friend is there without a grouse.
A wagging tail, a welcome bark,
All for the price of a walk in the park.
They ask for only a meal and drink,
We all exercise and stay in the pink.
