Gone

Always wanted a village life Always wanted a semi, Always wanted a garden, Always wanted to grow things. We got our village life. We got our semi. We got our gardens. We got to grow things. I planted a willow, thin as a rake. I planted all manner of things I planted our pets as they died I planted roses and vines and shrubs. The 40ft willow is gone, the roses too, The shed is gone, the vines are too. The garden is gone, a car park now We are gone, in Cyprus now. © Dave Timperley April 2015

Years go by, things change. But you know what they say, "When one door closes, another one opens." Our final years will still be good, just different. It's great that you were granted some of your heart's wishes.

Cona, looking back it is almost unbelievable the way God has worked in my life. Twice I knocked on Heavens Gate and twice He sent me back and a heck of a lot has happened since then. I have life's rewards and I am complete and content. God Bless. D.
