Golu and the Bird

Golu and the bird With twinkle in his big eyes, With sharp nose and chubby cheeks, With ears big as an elephant, With kindness in his pure heart, Golu was going to school, Golu sang a sweet song, Golu was getting wet in rain, Golu was hopping on the road, He heard shriek of a bird, He followed it close, He took off his hat, He put the little bird inside, The bird puffed its feathers, The bird rolled its eyes, The bird opened its beak, The bird lay on one side, His friends were happy to see, His friends brought water, His friends got some grains, His friends kept it cozy, Mother was waiting for golu, Mother hugged golu on return, Mother saw the little bird, Mother asked golu to return it to its mom, He set him free at same place, He saw its mother sitting in wait, He saw them chirp in joy, He happily went to school, When he opened his book, When he read the chapter, He recalled his own story, It read 'Golu and the bird' ! that was a really cute way you ended this one, with Golu inside his own story book!! Good luck in the contest, my friend.
