Golden Lake
The vast rivers of golden waves
crashing upon a sandy white shore
grooves of fruit trees
ripe for the picking
smiles in every direction I turn
every need satisfied every whim
roses in bloom in an array of colors
the kittens and puppies playing peacefully
the unbound joy
of every day life
no rain no strife
no pain just the good life
a pound of good cheer
and with a wish good friends appear
no worries no bills
no tantrums no crying over spills
just relaxation at every turn
acquiring all that I urn
in this that I call my new life
living of the shore of golden lake
