Gold Refined

Unstable Uneven ground When you sit on a fault For a heartbreak makes your faith falter. Restore A broken trail Requires sunshine and rain Water cleansing the heart that needs Warm rays. Resource From high above Be the only recourse To recover, the heavens charged With force. The Force That never fails May be at times at bay By somber fearful clouds A phase. To build Your inner strength Which raises faith again That the sunrise brings a new day That grants. New hope Comes to restore Your dream sleeping no more The tarnished gold of your soul, refined Bright ore. By CarolineCécile Copyright © 09.07.10

Your poem will bring hope to many who need it, Caroline. We do have to look to our inner strength to overcome adversity. And when we look within, we find the power of God's love. Beautiful cinquan series -- so uplifting! Love, Carolyn
