Going Home
I've lived in a manner I shouldn't have lived,
And squandered all my father had to give.
Feeding pigs in a distant land!
Will I ever again dine at my father's right hand?
I'm going home!
His father saw him afar off; ran to him; hugged and kissed him,
And made a joyous feast to celebrate!
I've lived the Life I was sent to live.
By My obedience, I could save and forgive!
Perhaps most people would say My cause is lost,
'Cause ahead of Me looms the Cross!
But I'm going Home!
His Father saw Him afar off;ran to Him;hugged and kissed Him,
And made a joyous feast to Celebrate!
I've lived a live for self alone,
Searching in vain for some way to atone!
Now, because of the sacrifice Jesus has made,
God marked my sin-debt fully paid!
So I'm going home!
His Father saw him afar off;ran to him;hugged and kissed him,
And made a joyous feast to celebrate!
