Going Down the Drain

Another Atlantic City hotel-casino is going away. The once-esteemed Taj Majal closes its doors after Labor Day. It has a big casino with tables and machines galore. There are posh restaurants, a state-of-the art theater, and much more. This place is truly a landmark at the New Jersey Shore. However, it will be a part of history, and not around anymore. The hotel still bears a presidential candidate's name. In recent years, it has fallen into financial shame. It's been awhile since that man has been at the establishment. These days, he's too busy running for President. Not long ago, he had four hotels in the city. Soon he will have none. Does that seem like a pity? from a news story found on New York Daily News.com

An 'of the moment' piece, with frightening implications should he become President. An enjoyable read :-) blessings, lynn

I have a strange feeling the same thing would happen to our country if he gets elected. Enjoyed the read, Robert.
