This is highly diverse and rich in its connotations. Sometimes I feel stupid when I read your poetry, as you make so many references that I must look them up to keep abreast of what it is you are saying. I like being challenged as a reader, it doesn't happen often.

Isn't that what poetry is about, gaining pleasure through the mystery of the words, or answers/enlightenment - or at the very least some form of justification. I read some of the great laureates, and I have to read their poetry more than once, to fully understand what they are trying to convey, or to claim something of myself in the words they write. They make me think, I am drawn to poets/writers/artists - who make me think. I am by no way aligning myself amidst and/with the high rankings of the great laureates, classics, or the refined poets / writers of our contemporary times - but to me, surely within the 'lines' (so to speak), there is an element of truth that is honest as guts are raw. I read this somewhere:" "TRUTH“ is like poetry…and most people hate poetry. But if you like poetry, it will speak and speak and speak to you…and it will be meaningful every time." Dali says, "I don't do drugs, I am drugs."

The concept, spiritual myth/fact of the Morning Star fascinates me. For in the bible there are two Morning Stars. Duality. The spirituality of the Egyptians, much older than Christ and Christianity, but closer to the worship of Ra who then merged with Osiris, could be closer to the truth of God. We are all eating our own tales (sic) going through a great transition, period of rebirth (Ouroboros). The Gods fight, just as men fight. I wonder sometimes how accurate the bible is (and this is a contentious point with many); for various passages state Man was made in the image of God. I will let the reader make of this poem and read into it what they feel is the truth or not. But in our times, current as of today, certainly it would seem that Book of Revelations is unravelling eerily before all of us, in one way or another.
