God's Gift

If it wasn't for the Lord who walks by my side, even when i'm in sin he's gone along for the ride.Thank heaven 2011 i'm here to see, another chance to advance and be all i can be. My resolution reduce pollution as i give or take, stand as a man for Jesus sake. One day at a time with each step that i climb,give God the glory for his story that he laid on the line. I'll do what's right despite what might be just a test, i'll do my best and let him handle the rest.

loved the title and this poem. and so true the Lord loves us, even if we don't deserve it or what we do, when we sin we should always ask for forgiveness, less the mount up on us, that has happen to me a number of times. this was a beautiful write. thank you for reading Go to sleep and for your comment.

Reducing pollution is an admirable goal, Anthony. But if you can walk with the Lord by your side through 2011, you will be able to surmount the challenges or "tests" thrown before you. Hi Anthony. Thanks for your visit. Loved this piece. Timed for rap with music oozing from every line. I always compare rap and old time poetry . (Bagpipe Music by Louis Macniece) I tried to work it in a piece called 'Life through the bottom of a Glass'. Have a look , forget about the old fashioned phrasing and let me know what you think.
