God Gave Me
God gave me parents who loved me before birth,
Put my needs first
Raised me from the Earth
God gave me blessings to move on.
God gave me two sisters and a brother I love,
Akilah, Sherri, and Jibri
Strength of this family
God gave us blessings to grow strong.
God gave me light that shines on me daily,
I follow His steps
Until my last breath
God gave me blessings to move on.
Gave gave me a soul not meant to be perfect
I make my mistakes
I continuously have faith
God give me blessings to grow strong.
