God Bless Me

I drop a penny, into the Army’s kettle, call me a Christian. I love my neighbor, from behind a border wall, Call me a Christian. Talk of abortion, and I will have to shoot you down, Call me a Christian. As for the homeless, they are just a bunch of bums, call me a Christian. Skins not my color, I will run you out of town, call me a Christian. Transgender people, they can’t go to church with me, call me a Christian. I’ll not treat others, as I demand they treat me, call me a Christian.

wow, this poem is powerful, especially the last verse. It's one thing to espouse being a Christian and another thing to act as if Christ is dwelling in our hearts. Am faving this one. Have a splendid evening, Sara
