God and Nature Can Be Awed

A solitary man meets God Beneath the moon on frozen sod. Rock walls caress that quiet place. Amid the snow and open space – There, God can speak to heart of man. Share great truths and give commands. Each man who waits for Christ’s return, Within his soul shall soon discern. There is no place upon this earth Where a soul’s growth has greater worth. That pensive place alone with God, Where He and nature can be awed. Ó November 17, 2011 Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen
