Easter inspires; as does belief.
God
By Franklin Price

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost,
I praise you as the Trinity, as one I praise you most.
God sacrificed his son for us, to all of you I say,
With grateful thanks, I celebrate, all of you this Easter day.
As Jesus Christ, the son of God, you came to show the way,
The life to live, how to forgive, for my sins the debt to pay
They hung you on the cross that day; high upon that hill
I was not there to see it, but I know I always will.
Within my mind I see you; nails in your hands and feet;
A crown of thorns upon your head and one day we will meet.
For I believe you suffered this, died on the cross for me,
And arose again to heaven, which is where I want to be,
If all of you who read this, believe in your hearts it's true,
Then eternity, in heaven, is also waiting there for you.
Until that day, the Holy Ghost, is always there to trust
Until my soul's in heaven and my body's turned to dust.
