Glimpse
I struggle here
To catch a glimpse
Of precious cheer
In fading dream
I face my fear
With simple gaze
That focus steers
In this mind maze
I struggle then
To ease the pain
Of broken plans
That now seem vain
I face the gall
With migraine nerves
That rise and fall
With nasty serves
Feel wear and tear
Push to the edge
Beyond the stares
Of a blank page
