Glass Slippers

You may not wear glass slippers Or even wear a crown You have no magic pumpkin Or a fancy ballroom gown But you're still my Cinderella A princess in my eyes I'll be your knight in shining armor And you, my noble prize I may not be Prince Charming With a kingdom of my own I don't wear those fancy clothes Or sit on some jeweled throne We're gonna see some bad times And we'll probably even fight This may not be some fairytale That always turns out right It's as real as we can make it No reason for pretending I will be your morning kiss And you, my happy ending
