Glad I Was Wrong

His life had been Drink and drugs Not worthy of help Saw him unclean I was wrong Lost his son Partner walked away Devoid of all friends Until one special day He was outside a church The Pastor saw him weep Had nowhere to call his own Not even a place to sleep Took him into his home Gave him food and a bed Turned his life around Now a better life is led Studies his bible daily Helps all that he can Has his own business Drives his own van Lives by Gods word A christian now and true always there for others I am so proud of you I was wrong. Penned 23 sept 2013 This is a true story, Marc is an inspiration to others. Has his own home and a van. Will turn his hand to anything to make an honest living.

This is a tremendous and enlightening write my friend! Sometimes you just can't judge a person by what they have done in the past, you must look at what they are doing now because they could have changed! And this is especially true when they convert their life to (in my belief) Christianity! And it took a special pastor to see the goodness in this man to help convert his life into the good life! I really loved the essence of this awesome poem! What a fantastic piece, Great Work!!
