Girl Sold Her Soul

It seemed as though she'd made a deal; With Satan in the flesh. Put her name on a twenty five year note. She didn't know she'd sold her soul; By signing on that line. Fate wasn't hers, that's how the deal was wrote. It didn't matter when she did; A little bit, too late. It was written in her cards to be that way. And, peace she wouldn't find this time; As she had lucked before. No peace for her, at least 9000 days. This girl, she traveled through this life; A demon by each side. Just like the deal she signed was sure to say. And, life chose not to be so kind; So tender, and so meek. In madness, was her fate, this girl would stay. The last day of the contract with; The Devil that she made. Day eight nine and ninety ninth it was. She said bye to a life of Hell; And turned to walk away. Then fell victim to the Devil like all does. So, make a note and make it well; And, tuck that note away. There's a lesson to be learned from her today. Don't sign a note and make a deal; With Satan in the flesh. Fate won't be yours, and Hell you'll have to pay.
