Girl Goes Gallivanting

GIRL GOES GALLIVANTING A precarious quest taken alone In search of that 'unique identity', She's gallivanting around, on her own In ecstasy, from city to city, Heeding no one, she flies free like a kite, Breaking hearts wherever she stops to breathe, With a nonchalant smile, her step is light, Though each rendezvous, her own self does wreathe, Alas! Her strings may get tangled some day, When she tries to fly far beyond her heights, Who'd then help her out of this messy play? Out of her finesse of careless delights? She's riding now on the clouds of success, Once she finds her match, she must acquiesce. 12/05/18

Nicely penned, Jo. I hope she finds her match. We all get tangled up in strings at times. Patience is the key:) So nice to read you again. Although I know you are not married I still hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day:)
