Gift and a Curse

There is a reason I know you But I don’t know why When I heard you got married I thought I would cry I was only happy because I thought you were You tell me that you’re not So now I’m mad at her I want her to hold your face close to her chest I want her to say “I got you at your worst and at your best” I want her to think of reasons to make you laugh Give you more than a pain in the ass. I want her to want you like you want me I want her to share your world like E.G.Y.P.T. I want her to treat you like a king because it’s part of your nature I don’t want you walking around acting like you hate her I want you to pretend she’s me if that’s what it takes If you will love her like your wife and treat her in good taste Show her how you feel like you tell me to my face Though you wish birthdays away, I can’t take her place So cherish her since you should not forsake her Make her aware that she is in the presence of a true love maker You are sensitive I see hurt in your eyes Make her your pillar of strength Teach her to wipe your eyes when you cry I will ask God to forgive us for trespassing until next lifetime Hoping only eternal love for your entire life line Yes it is true I am your gift and your curse Regardless hands down my love she had you first So if I could tell her one thing to do for me It would be to love, listen and laugh with you and act as if she were me.
