Ghost

Can’t you see? When you shove past me In your eyes For a moment I don’t exist Drowning in a mist Of oblivion It’s a crime To witness You having a jolly time Having a toast To life Once again Ignore my presence Continue to Walk through me As though I’m a despondent ghost This occurs with such frequency Think I’m numb to the pain? No damnit, I have feelings I’m somebody too!

Hi Emily, I see you and I loved your poem. I think many of us feel invisible sometimes. Just keep walking with your head held high. Blessings From Ohio, USA, Susan
