Getting Wet

Those who swim on the surface of life risk drowning if they sink. Those who swim in the mainstream of life need only come up for air.

Just a shout-out post to all Terry Lee's friends and followers: My Dear sister Terry Lee made 'the Transition' at the end of January 2017. In an effort to preserve her work; I am reviewing all her poems. As I scan through your comments, I discover aspects of Terry I had not been in touch with; and I appreciate your compassionate, kind words; gifts that have facilitated my own comfort. Consciousness is energy we all share which cannot be destroyed. Thanks to all of you. Thom Allen

Smile ˜ I would have to imagine that the 'mainstream' in this verse points unto something much deeper and broader than that the ways of this world wherein we do live? ˜ And in that case yes, let us swim joyfully amid the waters of love transcending, dear beautiful Terry ˜ Love always, John!:) ˜

To give of one's self from the heart letting people and life in, not living superficially. An attempt to weed out life's hurts and pain with a wall of indifference. Without the real lows the highs aren't hardly noticable. Thanks for your indepth review John. Huggs TLee

To live a life of indifference for fear of pain and saddness is to loose the full effect of joy and happiness. Thank you for your kind words and kindness to review.
