Aren't they amazing....how they seem to know where there is a "vacancy sign" waiting? Great poem, Sara! ~ Carrie

Interesting second verse. Not to be nitpicky but I think the second line may need to be trimmed down by one syllable. You had me check my choka on Van Gogh so the 5- 7- 7 is fresh in my mind...at any rate the verse leaves me scratching my head a bit. I'll take a guess though, the weather in today's world is far more unpredicatable and shifty and the poor geese have their internal compasses going wild trying to find south....nah I dunno, I'll scratch my head some more. thanks for sharing Sara.

Hiya, I just wanted to thank you for the comment you wrote, and the little poem you put in was epic :) I didn't know how to send a reply, so I decided to post a reply comment on one of your poems, and one you named after a type of bird seemed fairly apt. Also, this poem I'm commenting on is brilliant, and I'm not just saying that because you complimented mine. Actually writing Haiku is a world harder than it looks, and I've never been able to get it down, so much respect to you. :)
